How to get started introducing the long service badge scheme at your place of work:

1.  Gather details of who is next eligible for what.

Unsure of where/how to start? We are here to help and have introduced a simple planning tool Long Service Badges – Staff Details  to enable GP Practices to get started.

You could look through the staff HR files and look for dates from historical CVs. The simplest approach may however be to ask the staff directly by putting this list up in the kitchen or handing it round at the next training afternoon. Remember to include everyone – sometimes the cleaning staff may have been there longest!

Gather a list of staff dates / expectations of next achievement and then you’re ready to start to make a plan for what is needed and when.

4.  Let us know what date you need it for.

We have provided stock quantity details alongside our shop items, additional stock can easily be ordered in within 1-2 weeks if you need to buy greater quantities/ buy in bulk.  If there is a special occasion coming up and time is of the essence, just let us know and we will do our best to get it to you. 

• All of our badges and any add on items will be delivered in discrete packaging to help keep the surprise from the rest of the team.

5.  Spread the word.
